The business traditionally managed jobs using a variety of spreadsheets and project files. Information often had to be manually transposed from file to file and the sheets could only be updated by one person at a time.
Whilst this approach had served CTS well in the past, with increasing volumes of work and more complex projects, this process was becoming increasingly difficult to manage.
Intradev worked closely with CTS staff to design and develop a dedicated project tracking system. This system stores details of key milestones for the project along with risk assessments related to them. The data is presented in an easy to review form using red, amber and green highlights to draw attention where actions are required. The system also includes the ability to generate custom outputs that can be sent to CTS clients to keep them updated.
The system is used by multiple members of staff and gives easy to view warnings when milestones might be missed. It has helped CTS staff to successfully manage projects and has been well received by their clients.
