Intradev have worked with the business for a number of years, previously developing an internal job management system and client portal. The business looked to improve their processes and decided a driver mobile app to allow drivers to view job details and to record vehicle inspections electronically along with customer feedback would be a worthwhile investment.
Solution
Intradev spent time reviewing the business processes and designing the functionality to be used by the app. Flexible vehicle inspection processes were included along with capturing customer signatures and vehicle details lookup using DVLA data. The app was designed to be used on Android rugged tablets which would be supplied to AHVL drivers. The app seamlessly integrated with the existing job management system to retrieve job details and update statuses as the vehicle is delivered.
Benefits
The mobile app has worked well and staff have needed minimal training to operate it. It has made the business more efficient, reduced the amount of admin required and speeded up giving updates to customers.
